You can read this stuff at the yon-kai level ??? I am impressed to no end. I have just "mastered" the 51 Hiragana characters, so I can read about 10% and understand about 2% (Mostly the glue-words :-)
Ummmmmm.. I understand all the cute bits? Actually I can read a bit of it (p'haps 25%), but some of the kanji McG has to help me with. Actually it's easier to read in Japanese than it is to read the Babelfish English translation of it (which I most certainly did try...)
...isn't a yon-kai the party you have after the karaoke party after the nijikai?
i would say that this is more level 3 than 4. there were just a few kanji that i had to look up in the first entry and one compund that totally threw me for a loop. it's great practice!
oh my god. it's so cute i can't stand it! i'll have to get down and start translating.
