  1. These are great photos. Thanks for displaying them. I lived in China for 8 months from 1999 to 2000 right before I moved to Tokyo. I hear a lot has changed in Beijing, but what I see in your black and whites is just what I remember.

  2. just wanted to come than you for the in to henri-cartier bresson's photos. ove them. especiay the photo of the winding staircase and the cycist down beow, and the one taen in greece, of houses and a chid.

Very nice china photos Kim, you've gotta butt in and capture the older Chinese unawares coz it annoys the hell out of them to have their photo taken (unless they're perfectly dressed in suit and tie and in a Mao Looking-Up-To-The-Sky-In-Communist-Glory pose!) They're quite vain and paranoid of losing face. I can appreciate the difficulty and sneakiness you have employed to grab some of these shots!
